Dr Ronita Ghatak, after earning her PhD in the field of Food Science and Technology, spent a short span of time in research while working at Pepsico.  Her main objective was to maintain the quality of soft drinks.  Then she took a break and started working in academic institutions.  Her primary role is to deliver knowledge to students of various backgrounds including nutrition, Food technology, biochemical engineering and so on.  During her teaching career, she does research
on development of health food products either by fortification or by replacing sugar or fat in the recipe.

Research Interest
Research interest is to develop healthy food products. She would like to continue her research on antioxidants, and develop food products with inclusion of antioxidants in foods.
